China Automotive Carbon Digital has released the CPP Annual Report (2024) to enhance industry carbon footprint transparency and support green transformation.
I. Expanding Disclosure Scope
By December 31, 2024, the CPP platform disclosed carbon footprints of over 8,300 models from 88 automotive companies, including 87 passenger vehicle firms and 1 commercial vehicle firm. It authorized carbon labels for 32 models. The platform supported 6 government departments, over 40 vehicle manufacturers, 14 research institutions, and 1 financial institution, and received extensive media coverage.
II. First Batch of Corporate Carbon Management Evaluations
Thirteen companies, including Changan Automobile and Great Wall Motor, received the "Five Star" carbon management honor. Changan Automobile achieved the highest score (173 points). Other ratings included 13 "Four Stars," 1 "Three Star," 1 "Two Star," and 22 "One Star" companies.
III. Deepening Industry Services
In 2024, China Automotive Carbon Digital deepened its five-dimensional service system ("learning - calculating - planning - reducing - communicating") to support low-carbon development. It conducted four carbon management training programs, developed a digital carbon management system, released Scientific Carbon Targets (SCT), and launched evaluation guidelines for corporate carbon management and low-carbon suppliers. The platform authorized 32 carbon labels and selected six low-carbon leader models.
China Automotive Carbon Digital will continue to lead the industry, using the CPP platform to enhance carbon management capabilities and accelerate the industry's progress towards carbon neutrality.
