The Sino-Europe Automotive Carbon Footprint Mutual Recognition Research Working Group (SEA LCA) was jointly initiated in December 2024 by CATARC Carbon Digital Technology Center Co., Ltd. and Green NCAP. Through the innovative mechanism of 'One Calculation, Multiple Recognition,' SEA LCA conducts in-depth technical alignment based on real vehicle cases, focusing on rule alignment, data mutual trust, and equivalence verification. SEA LCA serves China-Europe green compliance practices and aims to provide enterprises with a 'green passport' for global market access. As a globally oriented cooperation platform, SEA LCA takes China and Europe as its starting point, promoting the coordinated development of an international automotive carbon footprint management system and contributing a 'China-EU solution' to global low-carbon governance.
