On March 17, 2025, the Energy-saving and Green-development Assessment Center for Automotive Industrial (hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment Center") officially awarded Aisin (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Aisin China") the "Five-Star Low-Carbon Supplier" certificate in Tianjin.
Supply chain carbon reduction, as a key link in the green and low-carbon transformation of the automotive industry, has become a core focus of carbon reduction efforts for leading enterprises. Since the launch of the automotive industry's low-carbon supplier evaluation in July 2024, automakers such as Great Wall Motor, XPeng Motors, and Beijing Foton Motor have integrated low-carbon supplier rating results into their supply chain management systems to accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of the entire value chain.
Since Aisin China set its "carbon neutrality by 2050" goal in 2022, it has actively implemented various solutions for carbon reduction and emission reduction. This time, Aisin China voluntarily applied for the low-carbon supplier evaluation and was awarded the "Five-Star Low-Carbon Supplier" certificate, which fully demonstrates its determination and confidence on the path to carbon neutrality. This achievement not only sets a benchmark for the industry but will also encourage more supply chain companies to actively participate in low-carbon supplier evaluations, improve their carbon management systems, and jointly promote the green and sustainable development of the industry.
So far, based on the "Automotive Industry Low-Carbon Supplier Evaluation Guidelines," the Evaluation Center has completed carbon management evaluations for over 180 supply chain companies. In November 2024, the Low-Carbon Supplier Rating Platform (LCS) was officially launched (http://lcs.auto-cices.com ). The online display of rating results has further improved the efficiency and transparency of low-carbon supplier evaluations, providing strong support for automakers to conduct low-carbon procurement and for supply chain companies to promote low-carbon initiatives.
